DELIVERY SERVICES

We carry stock of all the major brands, with next day delivery available on selected items*
When you shop at Save On Appliances Australia Pty Limited (“Save On Appliances”) ABN 79 4394 95650 ("we"/"us"/"our"), whether in-store or online, you have the option of collecting your goods or having us deliver them for you. This document sets out our terms and conditions for collection and delivery of goods purchased from Save On Appliances.

 

COLLECTION IN-STORE

Whether you order online or through one of our stores, you have the convenience of arranging for collection of your goods from any of our stores.
To arrange collection, goods must be paid for and confirmed as being available in the nominated collection store by the agreed time for collection. Depending on type and availability, some goods are available for collection the same day or within 2hrs, while others may take up to 14 business days, or as otherwise advised.
Please wait for confirmation by telephone or email that your goods are ready for collection before attending one of our stores. When you do attend, you must have appropriate identification matching the name of the person who placed the order. If the goods were purchased by credit card, the original credit card must be available for inspection by our staff.
Once an in-store collection has been arranged, it can only be changed by contacting us directly. In the case of an online purchase, requests for changes to collection arrangements must be made to sales@saveonappliances.com.au and approved by us return email.


FLAT RATE SHIPPING

This is available on many items. If you are purchasing online, enter your postcode to ascertain if Flat Rate Shipping is available. Flat Rate Shipping will be via our shipping partners or our nominated couriers.
Deliveries by Australia Post can be tracked by entering the applicable tracking ID number directly into the Australia Post website or using our tracking service. Delivery by our Save On Appliances delivery drivers cannot be tracked online.
Please note that we do not offer Flat Rate Courier delivery outside Australia, to Australian offshore territories or remote locations within Australia. Examples of remote locations include Norfolk Island, Christmas Island and any area that may require access via aircraft, motor vessel or a specialised vehicle. Please contact us if you have a question in relation to the locations to which we deliver.

Whether you order online or through one of our stores, you have the convenience of arranging for your goods to be delivered by us. The method and cost of delivery vary depending on your nominated delivery address and the type of goods to be delivered.


DELIVERY LOCATIONS

Delivery is available to most Brisbane metro areas.
Please note, other than as set out above, we do not offer delivery. We do not deliver outside Australia, to Australian offshore territories or remote locations within Australia. Examples of remote locations include Norfolk Island, Christmas Island and any area that may require access via aircraft, motor vessel or a specialised vehicle.

WHAT ARE THE SAVE ON APPLIANCES DELIVERY OPTIONS?

We offer Standard Delivery, Premium Delivery & Delivery and Removal Only. These options are appropriate for larger home appliances and some medium sized appliances.
The Standard Delivery,Premium Deliveries & Delivery and Removal Only are carried out Tuesday to Saturday excluding public holidays. For online purchases, we may call and schedule a delivery date within 24 hours of placing an online order. You will receive an SMS text message the morning of the delivery with a 3-hour delivery window. If you are unable to accept delivery in this timeframe, you must contact the Driver on the number the SMS text message was sent from. If no response is received, it is assumed you will be available to accept Delivery during that time period.
Please note ALL deliveries are subject to our General Delivery Conditions set out below.


SAVE ON APPLIANCES DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE (Standard Delivery)

The following terms and conditions apply for our Door to Door Delivery Service:

  • Products will be delivered in original packaging. Please note that the goods will not be unboxed;
  • This service does not include installation or the removal of any packaging or existing appliances;
  • Products, including original packaging and trolley, must be able to fit through all doorways, access points and stairs at your nominated delivery address and, if this is not possible, the driver will endeavour to leave your item as close as possible to your requested location;
  • Delivery drivers have the right to refuse to carry products by hand or otherwise if in their opinion, to do so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access;
  • Our drivers may refuse to locate your new appliance in your nominated location if they are of the view to do so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access;
  • If you wish to change the delivery date or address, you must notify the store from which you originally purchased at least 24 hours prior to the delivery date;
  • If you are not home at the time of delivery, you will be liable for a second delivery fee.


SAVE ON APPLIANCES PREMIUM DELIVERY

This is a premium delivery service for our customers and is provided for an additional fee. This service must be requested and paid for before or at the time of purchase of your goods. The following terms and conditions apply to this method of delivery:

  • Products will be unboxed/unpacked and, if requested, goods requiring 240v power will be connected to an existing conventional 240v power outlet (excluding dishwashers, TV's and cabinets). This does not include additional work or the supply of any parts or fittings required for an installation, such as supplying hose clamps or extensions, cabinetwork, plumbing or electrical work. Additional parts and works must be supplied and fitted by you prior to the driver's arrival;
  • Product packaging will be removed by the driver;
  • You can choose to have your old appliance removed by us provided it is no greater in size or weight than the replacement product and has been disconnected from all services (power, water and gas) by an appropriately licensed person and clean and free of any ice, water, food or debris before our driver arrives.
  • Products, including original packaging and trolley must be able to fit through all doorways, access points and stairs at your nominated delivery address and, if this is not possible, the driver will endeavour to leave your item as close as feasible, in their opinion, to that location;
  • Delivery drivers have the right to refuse to carry products by hand or otherwise if, in their opinion, to do so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access;
  • Our drivers may refuse to locate your new appliance in your nominated location and/or refuse to remove your existing appliance if they are of the view to do so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access; and
  • If you wish to change the delivery date or address, you must notify our applicable store at least 24 hours prior to the delivery date.
  • If you are not home at the time of delivery, you will be liable for a second delivery fee.


SAVE ON APPLIANCES DELIVERY AND REMOVAL ONLY

The following terms and conditions apply for our Delivery and Removal Only Service:

  • Products will be delivered in original packaging. Please note that the goods will not be unboxed;
  • This service does not include installation or the removal of any packaging or existing appliances;
  • Products, including original packaging and trolley, must be able to fit through all doorways, access points and stairs at your nominated delivery address and, if this is not possible, the driver will endeavour to leave your item as close as possible to your requested location;
  • Your old appliance removed by us provided it is no greater in size or weight than the replacement product and has been disconnected from all services (power, water and gas) by an appropriately licensed person and clean and free of any ice, water, food or debris before our driver arrives.
  • Delivery drivers have the right to refuse to carry products by hand or otherwise if in their opinion, to do so may pose a risk of injury or damage to property or person (including themselves) or if the location has poor or restricted access;

DELIVERY CHARGES

Save On Appliances charges for delivery of goods based on the nominated delivery location and weight of each item. Save On Appliances uses various delivery services including Australia Post, commercial couriers and dedicated Save On Appliances delivery trucks. The service used will depend on the type of delivery service required, delivery location and service availability.
Combined shipping of goods may be available on request provided the goods to be shipped are available from the same Save On Appliances store/warehouse.
As noted above, Save On Appliances does not offer delivery outside Australia, to Australian offshore territories or remote locations within Australia.
The availability of delivery for your goods and cost will be advised to you when you request delivery rather than collection from one of our stores.


GENERAL DELIVERY CONDITIONS

We cannot deliver to a post office box (PO Box), parcel locker, Locked Bag address or similar service;

  • Our delivery vehicle must be able to park safely within 20 metres of the access point of the delivery location and the delivery address must at all times be safe, clean and free of risk (eg hazards and pets securely restrained). We reserve the right to refuse to deliver if this condition is not met;
  • Delivery times and dates are estimates only and are subject to weather, traffic, postal contingencies, the actions of our agents and other factors, therefore we cannot guarantee delivery on the date we arrange with you;
  • We will take reasonable care during delivery, however delivery of appliances inherently carries with it a risk of damage (eg wet or scratched floors, scuffed walls). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage caused to property during delivery, including as a result of our or our driver's negligence;
  • All deliveries must be accepted at the delivery address by you or your nominee as advised in advance. You or your nominee must be a person at least 18 years of age, have photographic and/or credit card identification as authorised prior to delivery and be able to sign for receipt of your goods. Save On Appliances reserves the right to request the credit card holder to be present at delivery from time to time;
  • The Customer must notify Save On Appliances at time of delivery of any damage to Goods or Property, or if the Goods are inconsistent with the Customer's order. Failing such notice, and to the extent permitted by law, the Customer will otherwise be deemed to have accepted the Goods and Delivery.
  • If you or your nominee authorised in advance with us is not present at the time of delivery, your goods will not be delivered and an additional delivery charge will apply if the goods need to be redelivered;
  • Nothing in this document will exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or remedy mandated or otherwise implied by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot by law be excluded, restricted or modified. To the extent there is such a term, it is severed but only to the extent necessary to conform with the applicable law.
  • If you notice a product has been delivered to you in a damaged condition, Please ensure you report it to our driver on site or customer service team on 1300 609 228, within 7 days from the date of delivery. For safety please do not install / use the product unless advised.

 

IS IT URGENT?

If you need a product delivered in a hurry, we currently offer Next Day Delivery.

Next Day Delivery

For next day delivery, simply purchase any in-stock item and order by 10am Monday to Friday. Only available in qualifying Brisbane metropolitan areas (areas confirmed at Store or for Online Sales at checkout), and selected regional areas where Save On Appliances stores are located. Online purchases for next day delivery subject to phone confirmation by Save On Appliances customer representative. Excludes purchases from eBay or any third party sites. DELIVERY FAQ

How do I track my order?

Deliveries by Australia Post can be tracked by entering the provided tracking ID number directly into the Australia Post website or using our tracking service. Delivery by our Save On Appliances delivery drivers for large to medium sized home appliances cannot be tracked online.


Where do Save On Appliances deliver to?

We offer flat rate delivery via Australia Post for many items on-site and these can be delivered Australia wide. 
Delivery via the Save On Appliances delivery services is available in most areas within close proximity to stores.


What are the Save On Appliances delivery options?

We offer 2 options - Scheduled Door to Door Service and Premium Delivery. These options are appropriate for larger home appliances and some medium sized appliances. Full details can be found here.


How much does delivery cost?

The charge for the delivery of your order is based on your delivery location and weight of each item. Save On Appliances uses various delivery services including Australia Post, commercial couriers and dedicated Save On Appliances delivery trucks so the cost will depend on the type of delivery service required.
